Does any of the following sound familiar?
Generally in life you feel like a fairly well-put-together person who's been able to cope with most of what life chucks at you. But lately stress and emotions have been getting the better of you and you don't feel yourself.
Maybe it's a low mood that won't lift or overwhelming racing thoughts. Perhaps you’re struggling with work, relationships, family, grief, trauma or loneliness. You're feeling stuck in some way and not sure what to do to shift things forward.
Sometimes when we feel like this we lean on unhealthy coping mechanisms such as over-thinking, comfort eating, alcohol, drugs, self harm, doom-scrolling, shopping, withdrawing from people or avoiding our problems in general.
If you can relate to any of this, it might be time to approach things differently; to start prioritising your wellbeing so that you can get your spark back.
This is where therapy can help.
Get back to being yourself
Therapy is an opportunity to get to know yourself better and discover healthier ways to support yourself and to connect with others.
Through open conversations, you can explore and understand the root causes of your distress. This awareness will enable you to break free from unhelpful patterns and heal your wounds.
The goal is to progress with more clarity, peace, purpose, self-compassion, empowerment and fulfilment.
I provide a relaxed, confidential space where you can be yourself and talk through whatever's troubling you. With empathy and understanding I’ll support you to learn, grow and to develop your coping skills and resilience.
